Sterling Architectural Millwork built the extensive cabinetry for our new pediatric dental and orthodontic office in Glastonbury, CT. Sterling proved to be an excellent company. Their work was very good. For instance, our front desk has complicated curves that required fine craftsmanship to build and install. The product is very impressive. We also found Fotis Gazis and his staff to be very amenable and accommodating. As happens in construction, there can be instances of confusion or discrepancies. Fotis consistently said, “no problem” and came up with solutions. He strived to make the dentists’ experience pleasant and easy. For our project, Fotis Gazis and his team worked closely and collaboratively with our architects in Austin, Texas to design, deliver, and install everything from stunning furniture- quality front desk to a spectacular showcase, highlighting our CEREC milling machine so that our patients can see it in action. Most impressive was their ability to fabricate clinical cabinetry to match our A-Dec pre- manufactured cabinets right down to the exact same laminates and solid surfaces. We customized and adapted a major dental manufacturer layout to our needs and Fotis was able to seamlessly make everything work. Precise attention to detail, and quality materials fabricated on state of the art equipment resulted in an end product that is as good as or better than what I would have gotten from a major dental manufacturer and it was customized to my space and needs at ½ or less the cost. The work performed by Sterling was of the highest standard of dental cabinetry I have seen. The detail and finish was very well done, as well as the installation. Everything was delivered and installed on time. In fact, any adjustments after the installation were well accomplished, without delays. I have recently moved my dental practice to a new building and had to build new office space from scratch. I decided to go with a contemporary look where reception area and dental cabinetry in operatories would make the central focus of the design. It is with pleasure that I write this testimonial for Sterling Architectural Millwork and the designer of the project, Mr. Fotis Gazis. I recently completed a renovation of my sterilizing center at my office. It was the last room that I needed to update with my recent office remodel. I was replacing an old “Stericenter” unit which had served me well since 1995, but it was time to add a more modern look to my sterilization room. I was in particular interested in a clean (sterile side) and a set up (non sterile side). Most of the designs I had looked at through the dental supply companies, just showed one large unit that was similar to what I was replacing. I wanted my center to have two sides, which clearly separated the clean from the dirty instruments and set ups. Additionally, I wanted to hide all my computer hardware as the hub and patch panel for my computers, originated from this room. I found that having all the wiring exposed like that, made this room look very messy and contrary to the clean, sleek look that I was hoping to achieve. With those ideas in mind, I was referred to Sterling to evaluate my needs and concerns. Who would think a computer company would make such a referral, but I trusted their input and contacted Sterling.
Fotis Gazis, the designer for this project met with me on a timely basis. We designed the center and incorporated all the specifics and details that I felt were important for such a project. Lighting and simplistic clean lines were what I asked for, as well as a set up station for the clean items to be transferred to the holding area. I had seen this type of set up in other centers from dental manufacturers but did not like the price or quality. With a budget in mind, I was able to incorporate all the specifics that I wanted for clearly half the price of the competitors. The quality was also exceptional, and I would highly recommend that an interested client, go out of the box and speak with Sterling Millwork. They were efficient and very professional in their services. Lastly, their installations was timely and we were able to go the project with minimal down time.
I was exploring my options for cabinets for my new office and decided to go to Yankee Dental to see what my options were. I had spoken with several of my dentist friends and they all recommended I have custom cabinetry made and provided me with names of companies they used. However, when I met Fotis, the owner of Sterling Architectural Millwork, and his team at Yankee I knew they were the ones who I wanted to work with because I loved the fact that the owner was at the show and the whole team seemed very honest and passionate about their work. I called them up when my architect finished his drawings and I was very happy with their estimate which was much lower than the one I have been given by one of the big dental companies. There is no middle man for Sterling Architectural Millwork so they can provide one with high quality work at low cost. The work they did for me is exceptional. They did the whole office cabinetry for my 1800 sq ft office and my contractor, who is hard to please, was very impressed with the quality of work they did and decided to use them for his future projects. It was very easy to work with Fotis and his team and I have been recommending them to all my colleagues.
When I began to put together plans for renovating my existing office space, Sterling Architectural was recommended to me and it was the best decision made during our project. I went up to meet with Fotis at his showroom and factory in Springfield, MA. It was well worth the trip up I-91!! He greeted me at the door, we looked at all the amazing products in the showroom and then he walked me through the area where they manufacture all the millwork. It was all very impressive. I was on a very tight time schedule, closing for only one week, to do a complete renovation, and Sterling Architectural was up for the challenge. Renovations are many times more difficult than new builds due to problems that can arise, but any problems were handled quickly and professionally. Fotis himself was there on demolition day and actively helped to remove existing millwork!! During our construction week, his installers were always punctual, courteous and worked extremely hard to get done in our tight time line, staying for as long as it took to get the job done! On the day we were resetting the office, Fotis stopped by to make sure everything was just perfect. I would highly recommend this stellar company for not only the excellent craftsmanship, but also the outstanding customer service. We reopened after only one week and patients are just amazed by our transformation!!

We discovered Fotis and his company, Sterling Architectural Millwork, at the 2013 Yankee Dental Meeting. We were in the planning stages of relocating our General Practice dental office. Fotis designed a custom, semi- circular reception desk, lab cabinetry, a stunning private office, and duplicated an entire A-Dec Sterilization area that was beyond expectations, as well as customized to our needs. He and his expert staff not only installed what they fabricated in their shop, but moved cabinetry from our old office and customized it to fit the new space. Of all the contractors on the project, Sterling was at the top. The cabinetry is beautiful and functional, and we are constantly complimented on their work. The two hour trip to our office was never a concern or an issue. The project was completed on schedule and on budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Sterling Architectural Millwork to anyone considering dental cabinetry.

When I was building my new office in 2010, I looked for a cabinet company that would provide us with exceptional quality and competitive prices. We decided to go with Sterling.
